יארצייט of the Rebbe Tzemach Tzedek. He passed away in the year 5626 (1866) in Lubavitch and was interred there.

My grandfather related: At the age of 12 the Tzemach Tzedek began to write scholarly dissertations in the field of Talmud and halacha as well as in chassidic philosophy.

Compiled and arranged by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of righteous memory, in 5703 (1943) from the talks and letters of the sixth Chabad Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, of righteous memory.

הילולא של כ"ק [כבוד קדושת] הצ"צ [הצמח צדק]. נסתלק שנת תרכ"ו בליובאוויטש, ושם מ"כ [מנוחתו כבוד]. מספורי אאזמו"ר [אדוני אבי זקני מורי ורבי]: הצ"צ [הצמח צדק] התחיל לכתוב נגלה ודא"ח [ודברי אלקים חיים] בהיותו בן שתים עשרה שנה.
