Hearken and hear Israel,[1] this is the time marked for the redemption by Mashiach. The sufferings befalling us are the birth-pangs of Mashiach. Israel will be redeemed only through תשובה.[2] Have no faith in the false prophets who assure you of glories and salvation after the War.[3] Remember the word of G‑d, "Cursed is the man who puts his trust in man, who places his reliance for help in mortals, and turns his heart from G‑d" (Yirmiyahu 17:5). Return Israel unto the Eternal your G‑d;[4] prepare yourself and your family to go forth and receive Mashiach, whose coming is imminent.

תו"א [תורה אור] ד"ה [דיבור המתחיל] אוסרי סעיף המתחיל והנה זהו, צ"ל [צריך להיות]: "והעלאת ניצוצות שנפלו אפילו הבהמות יתעלו כמו שהיה בתחילת". הסכת ושמע ישראל, העת הזאת היא מועד הגאולה על ידי משיח צדקנו, והיסורים הבאים עלינו הם חבלי משיח, ואין ישראל נגאלין אלא בתשובה. אל תאמינו לנביאי השקר המבטיחים לכם ישועות ונחמות אחרי כלות המלחמה, זכרו דבר ה' [ירמיה יז, ה] ארור הגבר אשר יבטח באדם ושם בשר זרועו ומן ד' יסור לבו. שובה ישראל עד ד' אלקיך, והכן עצמך ובני ביתך לקבל פני משיח צדקנו הבא בקרוב ממש.
