A shul that is hard to get into is not much of a shul. The same goes for its website. This page says what has been done and what to do if you hit something that does not work.

What has been done
Each of these is a real property of the site, not an aspiration:
It works without a mouse. Every link, button, field and menu can be reached with a keyboard, and whatever has focus is visibly outlined. The menu and the home page slider both close with Escape and return focus to where you were.
Text scales. Type is set in relative units, so making it larger in your browser enlarges the page rather than breaking it. Form fields are set at a size that stops phones zooming the page when you tap into one.
It respects your settings. If your device is set to dark mode, the site is dark. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, nothing on the site animates or auto-advances — including the slider on the home page.
Color is never the only signal. Anything shown in color — a selected day, a status, an allergy note — is also marked by shape, weight or wording.
Tap targets are big enough. Buttons are at least 44 pixels tall, and small controls like the slider dots have hit areas far larger than the dot you can see.
It reads sensibly aloud. Headings are in order, form fields have real labels, icon-only buttons carry text for screen readers, images that are decoration are hidden from them, and there is a “skip to content” link at the top of every page.
Nothing important is trapped in an image. Times, dates, prices and instructions are text.
The Hebrew calendar reads right-to-left properly when switched to Hebrew, rather than being English layout with Hebrew words dropped into it.
Telling us about a problem
