We do not run a preschool in San Jose. There are two Chabad preschools near enough to matter, and this page tells you what each one actually is, so you can ring the right one.

Structured and unstructured time in balance, with a published minute-by-minute day: learning centers, a morning meeting with Hebrew songs and blessings, outdoor play, academics, hot lunch, and rest. Two snacks and a hot lunch daily.
Ages. Nursery 18–30 months · Preschool 2½–3½ · Pre-K 3½–5
Hours. Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Fridays end at 4:00 in summer, 2:00 in winter.
Days. Two days (Tue/Thu), three days (Mon/Wed/Fri) or five days — and four lengths of day, from a 12:00 finish to 5:00.
Monthly, and they say so: tuition is a full-year registration split into ten equal monthly payments. There is also a $100 annual registration fee and a $500 annual lunch fee.

Reggio Emilia inspired, with a craft and art room, a 5,000 square foot outdoor space with fruit trees and a sixty-foot vegetable garden, Alef-Bet alongside English, maths and science, Hebrew enrichment from visiting Israeli teachers, and hot meals served family style.
Ages. Given as 18 months to 5 years, with classes listed as 18 months–3 and 3–4.
Hours. 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with early care from 8:00 and aftercare to 4:30.
Days. Monday to Friday. No part-week option is offered.

Part weeks. Gan Torah sells two days, three days or five, across four lengths of day. Gan Preschool is Monday to Friday only. If you need three days, that decides it on its own.
How late. Gan Torah runs to 5:00 with hourly aftercare. Gan Preschool stops at 4:30. For a parent commuting from the valley, that half hour is not a detail.
Whether you can find out what it costs. Gan Torah states its period plainly — monthly, ten payments, plus a registration fee and a lunch fee, all named. Gan Preschool publishes figures with no period attached anywhere on its site. Ask that question first.
And the obvious one: Gan Torah is in Mountain View, about twenty miles up the road, which for a daily drop-off is the whole question.
Hebrew School on Sunday mornings, from age five. Camp Gan Israel in the summer and over the winter break, which takes children from age two — for a preschooler that is often the first thing they do with us. CTeen later on. And a Shabbat table that has never minded a toddler under it.
