Daily davening

Our own Minyan is Shabbat morning. For a weekday Minyan — Shacharis, Mincha and Maariv, every day — the community davens at Congregation Am Echad in Willow Glen. If you are saying Kaddish, this is where you will find a Minyan three times a day.

Other shuls in the valley with regular daily minyanim: Congregation Emek Beracha in Palo Alto, the Bar Yochai Sephardic Minyan in Sunnyvale, and Chabad of Palo Alto. If you need a Minyan today and are not sure where to go, call us and we will find you one.

What to expect

Every Saturday morning we gather a small group for a calm, meaningful service — relaxed, with plenty of space for quiet reflection. Prayers and the Torah reading are in Hebrew, with easy-to-follow English Chumashim and prayer books on hand so everyone can follow along.

After the service, the Rabbi shares a short thought on the week’s Torah portion, and we sit down together for a Kiddush lunch — good food, good company, and a chance to catch up or meet someone new.
