Come and see us
A person answers the phone. Nobody screens it, nothing is a menu, and there is no wrong question — including the ones you think are too small to ring about.

On Almaden Expressway, with parking on site. Almaden Valley, south San Jose — about fifteen minutes from Willow Glen and twenty from Los Gatos.
How to reach us
Answered every day. Not on Shabbat or a festival — leave a message and it is picked up straight after.
Park in the lot and come in the front. There is no reception desk to get past, nobody takes your name, and nothing is checked at the door. Somebody will say hello; if they do not, say hello to them — that is also completely normal here.
You do not need Hebrew, a kippah of your own (there are some at the door), a background, or a reason. You can arrive late, leave early, sit at the back, and say nothing to anybody. All of that is ordinary. What actually happens at a service walks through a whole Shabbat morning in order if you would rather know before you come.
Tell us you are coming and somebody will look out for you. Use the form below, or ring. It is not a fuss and it is asked for often.
Tell us what you need — step-free access, somewhere to sit near the door, help from the car, a quieter space, or anything else — and we will tell you honestly what the building can do before you drive over, and arrange whatever can be arranged. Ask when you call rather than when you arrive. More on accessibility.
Call 408-910-2034 at any hour, including the middle of the night. If someone has died is the page with the first steps on it.
Ask in writing, or book a time to sit down or speak by phone. Nothing is too basic and nothing is repeated to anybody.
Hebrew School, preschool, Camp Gan Israel, CTeen. Cost is never the reason a Jewish child does not get a Jewish education here — say so privately and it is handled privately.
Donate, or manage a recurring gift. Our EIN is 84-3752618 and it is on every receipt.
The mikvah, a community dinner, the hall, or a Shabbat meal with a family.
Type a question and somebody at Chabad answers you here, while you wait. It is open through the day and closed over Shabbat, Yom Tov and overnight — the window says which, and gives the telephone number.
Tell us what you need and somebody reads it the same day. If it is urgent, call 408-910-2034 — a person answers.
