Giving

There is no membership fee here and no ticket at the door. What keeps this place running is people in the community choosing to pay for it.

Some of that is a gift today. Some of it is a monthly commitment, a brick with your family's name on it, or a line in a will. All of it is below — pick whichever is right for you, and call us if you'd rather just talk it through.

Give something other than money

Donate your car

If you are about to sell a car and would rather give it, we can take it. We do all the paperwork, pay the title transfer and registration fees, and collect it free of charge. We will send you what your accountant needs.

We can take cars in fair or good condition. Call 408-910-2034 or email Info@chabadalmaden.com to arrange a pickup or to check whether yours qualifies.

Donate land

If you hold land you are thinking about giving away, we would very much like to talk. Rabbi Weinfeld will take that conversation personally — Info@chabadalmaden.com.

Other ways to pay

Besides card, we take PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, check, gifts of stock, grants from a donor-advised fund and distributions from an IRA. Every way to give has the exact details for each, including what each one costs us in fees — they are not the same, and it is worth thirty seconds.

We are funded solely by the community — there is no national body writing us a check — and we serve the whole Jewish community here regardless of background, affiliation, or what anyone can afford. Those two facts are the same fact.

Many employers will match what you give — most of the large ones in this valley do, often dollar for dollar. Check yours: it takes about five minutes and it doubles the gift. We are glad to supply whatever paperwork your company asks for.
