A small amount every month, from many families, is what actually keeps the lights on — steadier than any single gift, and easier to give.
Worked out from real monthly gifts every time this page loads. Nothing is rounded up, and a gift that has not gone through is not counted.
A shul’s year is lumpy. Costs arrive every month; giving arrives in bursts around the holidays. Monthly members are what smooth that out — they are the reason the doors are open in February as reliably as in September.

It comes out on the same day each month. You can change the amount or stop it whenever you like, yourself, without asking anyone.
