Rabbi Mendel & Mussi Weinfeld

Directors

Rabbi Mendel Weinfeld founded and directs the Chabad House. He and Mussi were born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to San Jose at the start of 2020 to establish it. They are members of the Chabad community of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, and it was his vision that sent them here as his emissaries to serve the Jewish community.

The Rabbi teaches, officiates, and gives guidance on personal and religious matters to people of every age and background. As he puts it: “As a representative of Chabad, I consider it my privilege and duty to serve the Jewish community in San Jose. We will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable.”
