One form for every child you are sending, including health details and who is allowed to collect them. Places are held in the order they come in.
All of your children in one form, with their health details, emergency contacts and who may collect them. Those answers are encrypted and deleted once the season is over.
Some families would rather talk it through first, and that is a perfectly good way to start. Ring the office with your children’s ages and the weeks you are thinking about, and they will walk you through it.
Whichever route you take, health information, emergency contacts and pickup permissions belong on the registration form — not in an email and not in a website message box. That is why the form asks for them and this page does not.
Registration for a given week closes at least four days before that week starts, so a Monday start means deciding by the middle of the week before. Families sign up by the week or by the day, and campers already enrolled can add days or weeks later through the office.
Winter camp registration has opened at the start of October in past years. Summer registration opens earlier in the year.
Scholarships are available, and no child is turned away for lack of funds. The scholarship request asks you to explain the need and what you are able to pay, and the office follows up with you directly. Call 408-910-2034 or email info@ganisraelsj.com to start that conversation.
There is also a tuition grant for first-time campers, run together with Birthright Judaism, for children who have not attended a local Jewish day camp in recent years. It requires signing up for at least two weeks.
Sunnyvale transportation, after care, and camp T-shirts are arranged separately from the main registration. Mention them when you call and the office will sort them out with you.
