All of your children in one form, with their health details, emergency contacts and who may collect them. Those answers are encrypted and deleted once the season is over.

Registration is handled by the camp office, on a secure form they send you. Start by getting in touch.

How it works

Call or email the office and say which weeks you are interested in and how old your children are.
They send you this season’s registration form, along with the current dates and rates.
You complete it there — that is where health information, emergency contacts and pickup permissions belong, not in an email or a website message box.
Applications are processed within about 48 hours, and you hear back.

Timing

Registration for a given week closes at least four days before that week starts, so a Monday start means deciding by the middle of the week before. Families sign up by the week or by the day, and campers already enrolled can add days or weeks later through the office.

Winter camp registration has opened at the start of October in past years. Summer registration opens earlier in the year. Call to confirm the dates for this season rather than working from either.

Scholarships and grants

Scholarships are available, and no child is turned away for lack of funds. The scholarship request asks you to explain the need and what you are able to pay, and the office follows up with you directly. Call 408-910-2034 or email info@ganisraelsj.com to start that conversation.

There is also a tuition grant for first-time campers, run together with Birthright Judaism, for children who have not attended a local Jewish day camp in recent years. It requires signing up for at least two weeks, and the eligibility years change — ask the office whether your child qualifies this season.

Add-ons

Sunnyvale transportation, after care, and camp T-shirts are arranged separately from the main registration. Mention them when you call and the office will sort them out with you.
