Prayer
A name to be remembered in prayer — for healing, or in memory. It goes to the Rabbi and nowhere else.
If you do not know the Hebrew name, put the English one. We can usually work the rest out, and a name given in English is prayed for exactly the same. The traditional form is the person’s Hebrew name together with their mother’s — but not knowing it has never stopped anybody being included.
Names are read at the Torah and at the daily services. They are not published anywhere, and nothing you write here is added to any list.
