That is the room. Staff, tables, chairs, sound and the rest are priced separately and listed below, so you only pay for what your event actually needs.

The room
5580 Almaden Expressway, San Jose. Free parking on site — no permit, nothing reserved. Ask us to confirm capacity for your layout; the number that counts on the night is the fire code’s.
Before you book a caterer
Only kosher food may be brought into the building, so catering has to come from a kosher caterer. It is the first thing to settle, because it shapes the budget and the menu — and it is much easier to sort out before somebody has fallen in love with a quote. Our kosher food and catering list is the place to start, and we will happily talk you through who does what.
None of this is compulsory. Bring your own, use ours, or mix the two — most events do.

Renting the room is one half of a simcha. If the other half is still to be arranged: Bar and Bat Mitzvah covers the preparation, the aliyah and what a family provides, and the Bar Mitzvah inquiry form reaches a person. Getting married sets out the chuppah and everything a couple has to sort out first. And whatever the occasion, many families also sponsor the Kiddush on the Shabbat — the whole community eats, and the name is announced.
