Jewish life in San Jose for people who grew up speaking Russian — and among people who share the same story about how they got here.
Значительная часть того, что происходит в нашем Центре Хабад, проходит на русском языке: уроки, ужины, концерты, прогулки и просто жизнь общины, где люди знают друг друга.
Знание иврита не требуется. Опыт и религиозное воспитание не требуются. Членство не требуется — его у нас просто нет. Приходите такими, какие вы есть.
A good part of what happens at the Chabad House happens in Russian: classes, dinners, concerts, walks, and the ordinary business of a community that knows one another. You do not need Hebrew, you do not need a background, and you do not need to be a member of anything — there is no membership here to be a member of.
Shabbat dinners

The Russian-speaking programming is led by Luba Perlov and Baruch Perlov, who direct it together. They are the people to ask about anything on this page — reach them through the office and we’ll pass you straight on.
There is a running archive of weekly Parsha classes recorded in Russian — Noach, Lech Lecha, Chayei Sarah, Vayigash and the rest of the cycle, roughly an hour each. They aren’t posted on this page yet. Ask us and we’ll send you the link to the whole channel, and add you to the list for new ones.
