Winter camp

Two weeks of camp over the December school break, for families who would rather not spend the holidays working out what to do with the days.

Winter camp is the same Gan Izzy in a shorter shape — trips, sports, art and time with friends, run by the same staff at the same place. Children who come in the summer often come back for it, and it is a gentle way in for a child who has not been to camp before.

When

Two weeks, Monday to Friday, across the December school break:

• Week one — 21 to 25 December 2026
• Week two — 28 December 2026 to 1 January 2027

Families take one week or both. Confirm before booking flights around it — camp weeks move with the school district’s break.

Registering

Registration opens on 1 October 2026, separately from summer. The steps are the same as for summer. Call the office before then and they will put you on the list to be told the day it opens, which is worth doing — winter is two weeks and it fills faster than six.

Scholarships are available, and no child is turned away for lack of funds.
