Yes. The Sukkah at the Chabad House is open to anyone who wants to eat a meal in it, say a blessing in it, or just sit in it for five minutes. You do not need to be at an event and you do not need to tell us you are coming, though calling first means somebody will be there to say hello.

Yes. We keep a set at the Chabad House for exactly this, and anyone may use it — no charge, no appointment. Somebody will show you which way up it goes and what to say. If you would rather have your own set, we order them and you can reserve one through this website.

A temporary hut with at least three walls and a roof of cut plant material — bamboo, palm, branches — loose enough that you can see stars through it. For seven days it becomes the house — every meal is eaten in it, and in Chabad even a snack or a cup of coffee is taken in the Sukkah rather than outside it. Chabad custom is specifically not to sleep in the Sukkah, following a teaching of the Alter Rebbe; the guide explains that, and what makes a Sukkah kosher if you want to build your own.

The Sukkah is at ground level and reachable without steps. If you need anything else arranged — a chair kept for you, help getting from the car — call and it will be arranged before you arrive.
